FYI a little DIY

A few years ago my dad was sending this beauty off to the D.I. when I IMMEDIATELY stopped him in his tracks and asked if I could take it. He used to hold his record player and records in it. (What's a record again? jk dad;) Sorry but this is a treasure that just needed a little TLC.

So at first I went black and distressed the edges...

But if you give a mouse a cookie, she's gonna wanta change it, people. I was needing a little color in my life and decided to paint it this color blue. The coolest thing ever was I took my little blue lantern I have that I wanted to match and Home Depot just scans the color on the item and can make you the exact match! (my jaw just dropped again tellin all a ya!) It really is the coolest. So here she is:

Totally brightens up my room!
